Since 2020, SDE has successfully embedded the Theory of Constraints (TOC) across its production operations. By managing flow around known constraints and using full-kit scheduling principles, we have dramatically improved throughput, shortened lead times, and increased delivery performance. Every process is aligned to system-wide throughput—not just local efficiency—ensuring consistent, reliable output that meets customer expectations.
With our own logistics fleet managed by sister company Salop Haulage, we offer complete control over outbound delivery. This allows for:
- Precise delivery slot alignment
- Live tracking
- High On-Time-In-Full (OTIF)
- Same-day or JIT support
Combined with ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) systems and digital delivery scheduling, our logistics function gives customers confidence, flexibility, and responsiveness.
