At Salop Design & Engineering, our logistics operations are seamlessly managed through our dedicated sister company, Salop Haulage Ltd, giving us full end-to-end control of delivery performance, customer service, and supply chain visibility. With a modern, flexible fleet and a customer-first culture, our logistics function plays a pivotal role in delivering world-class OTIF (On Time In Full) service to our valued clients across the UK and Europe.

SDE Logistics was founded in 1979 to serve the transport and delivery needs of the growing manufacturing business. It is based on the same industrial site as SDC Technology, behind the main plant. The delivery fleet comprises 22 HGVs ranging from 3 tonne vehicles up to 44 tonne vehicles. All are curtain siders with the ridged vehicles fitted with tail-lifts.   • 26T Curtain-sided trucks
  • 18T Rigid vehicles
  • 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles for smaller or urgent loads
  • Flatbeds for oversize or non-standard components
  • Tail-lift and Moffett-equipped vehicles for complex deliveries

All vehicles are GPS-tracked and maintained to the highest compliance and safety standards, enabling secure and timely deliveries of goods from prototype batches to full production quantities.
